Comedienne Reno (Rebel Without a Pause) will host the one-night-only event slated for an 8 PM curtain at the company's new theatre on Chrystie Street.
"Lily will serve up a selection of her timeless characters, including the beloved Ernestine and Edith Ann," according to organizers. The show will be followed by a dessert reception with the star and host.
Tomlin earned a Tony Award as Best Actress for her turn in The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe and also received a special Tony Award in 1977. Known for her comedic work, the actress has appeared in "Laugh-in," "West Wing," "I Heart Huckabees," "Desperate Housewives" and more.
On stage she also performed in Appearing Nightly — which she co-created with partner Jane Wagner.
For tickets ($175-$500) to An Intimate Evening with Lily Tomlin at Dixon Place, 161A Chrystie Street (between Rivington and Delancey St.), call (212) 352-3101. Further information is available online at dixonplace.org.
